The busier beach in Scarborough, home to the famous Harbour Bar ice cream parlour! If you decide to have fish n chips on the beach, please be warned the seagulls will also take a fancy to your meal! On the pretty harbour, you will be able to take one of the various boat trips along the coast, or take a speed boat for those that dare to ride! Scarborough Town Centre is just a 10 minute walk uphill from the beach.

South bay beach has a lot to see & do. There is the pier, lighthouse, harbour, bars, restaurant, cafes, boats for hire, Luna park, amusements, Victorian beach huts & changing rooms, donkey rides.
