Like a scene out of Dirty Dancing, Basin Harbor is a rare find. An old-world style New England summer resort, where little cabins and cottages dot the property. The main lodge has a bar, outdoor seating, a food truck, and a gift shop. The Red Mill also offers a more casual dining option.

The Red Mill (open Mid May to Mid October) has great local food, a playground the kids can use while you wait for food. You can also play golf, tennis, book and book a massage.

A lovely, old resort on the lake with a formal, traditional dining room and also a casual one suitable for children. Sometimes music there.

Has a boat museum with that is worth the time. Also a good restaurant at the Red Barn

The gardens are something to behold. Dinner at the club after playing 9 holes is a great way to finish the day.
