The quieter beach in scarborough, popular with couples and families. Stroll past the colourful chalets, past the sealife centre and sit have a drink outside The Old Scalby Mills pub take in the beautiful views of North Bay, have a little paddle in the pretty stream below the pub!

This bay is the quieter side and has no amusement arcades or rides. There are restaurants and cafes. There is a hire shop for paddleboards and other activities.

This place is always popular, grab the bucket and spade and make some sand sculptures. You are never too old to have fun on the beach. This place is perfect for fresh air and fun, surfing is possible and hire equipment is available, cafes and the Sea Life Centre is only a short stoll along the beach. This beautiful beach is about a 15 minute walk from my pottery studio.
