The Golden Ball pub is a great traditional pub that is part of the Samuel Smith’s brewery and the only one in Scarborough. The follow the Sam Smith’s ethos of “no music” so if you want a “quiet” drink (it’s usually very busy) this is a great spot. Situated on Sandside right opposite the Harbour, it has a lovely view from the front room, it also has a larger rear room and a smaller room downstairs with a second bar for very busy periods. They also have a beer garden. If memory serves me right they are dog friendly but I will have to double check.
