Everyone is checking out the state library, why don't you pay a visit to the Melbourne city library? It opens at 8am Monday to Friday if you are an early bird!

For some quiet "time out" in the CBD, head here to sit down and read. Books, magazines, references... I love this spot for a break. Fantastic cafe at the entrance called "Canteen".
