Westport is a town on the edge of an Atlantic inlet, on Ireland’s west coast. In the Georgian town centre, stone bridges link the tree-lined promenade on the banks of the Carrowbeg River. Rockfleet Castle and Burrishoole Abbey, both to the northwest, have ties to the 16th-century pirate queen, Grace O’ Malley. The Great Western Greenway bike and pedestrian trail runs from Westport to Achill. 10 min drive away.

Great town with lots to offer whatever age, or interest. it is easy to get around. Leave your car behind and see the countryside from a different perspective. Buses can take you to Achill, Louisburg, Galway City and even Clifden. Bike hire is easily available and The Greenway offers safe cycling for all ages. Taxi services are also present and easily accessible.

Westport has lots to offer from beaches, Croke Patrick, interesting shops and Westport house. There is something here for everyone. Westport house has a small adventure park. You will not be bored here.
