Really good coffee and friendly baristas above an awesome bookstore right downtown. Definitely one of the best local cafes! Also a popular study spot. Address on here is wrong! GoogleMaps still has their old location so make sure to go to 204 4th Ave S, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. It's above the bookstore Literati!

Best coffee in Ann Arbor, hands down. Good croissants and carrot cake as well. I like sitting down here with a book or to grade papers. The only downside is that it is not accessible (no elevator and is on the 2nd floor of Literati, a nice local bookstore).

As a serious coffee consumer, I appreciate a well made cup. Literati coffee is exactly that - specialty coffee with a little something extra: a bookstore. You could drink coffee and look at books all day here.
