The 30 miles of wild & scenic Yuba River are essential to what makes Nevada County what it is. There are 5 primary "crossings" (bridges) each with their own zones of trails and swimming holes. If you've never been, start with the Hwy 49 crossing and hike upstream. Explore.

If you are here in the summer, a trip to the Yuba River is a must. There are lots of different spots, this is an easy one with ample parking.
