For an easy walk and great views of Lake Champlain, drive to Button Bay State Park and walk the road and paths to the point on Lake Champlain.

Great pool with slide for kids. Hiking trails along the shores of the lake to Nature Center. Ranger often has activities for kids. Great place to bring the kids bikes to practice.

Walk to the end of the point and get a great view of Lake Champlain - it is worth the effort.

It is a state park, therefore: when they open in the summer you will have to pay a fee. They have a small pool and playground available. In the winter months you can park at the gate and Walk to the point (the lake) with your family and dog(s). Nice flat walk!
