The Milking Shed

The Milking Shed is a cosy cabin in the lush green hills and beautiful vistas of the Hawkesbury region north-west of Sydney. The cabin is built on the side of a hill and looks directly into a small forest of eucalypts - perfect for trying to spot one of our regular koala visitors. It is 200m past the main house on the property, and completely private. Curl up with a book, feed a donkey, pour a wine, cuddle a corgi, or sit on the deck take in the country. It is a million miles from care.

Hawkesbury Haven - A rural retreat

Hawkesbury Haven Cottage is an as new, beautifully furnished, free standing cabin on 12 acres in a semi-rural area between Windsor and Richmond. It has a luxurious ambiance and so suitable for a romantic weekend or catch up with close family and friends. Full kitchen, gas and wood fire heating, air con, ceiling fans, fenced patio. Fresh farm eggs, bacon, tomatoes and bread provided for a full breakfast. Along with coffee and teas and cereal. With lots of friendly farm animals.

Our spacious cottage is a lovely getaway for 2 looking for a romantic escape or share the experience with friends. Close to Springwood/Winmalee that have shops for your every need. Katoomba and the World Heritage listed national park are only 40mins away. We are surrounded by beautiful gum trees which host an array of birdlife. There are local bush walks to explore or curl up on the lounge and read a book. A glass of wine on the verandah on sunset is always a lovely way to unwind.

Studio 135 Freemans Reach offers a romantic getaway whilst capturing the charm of historic Windsor and showcasing some of Hawkesbury's historic homesites. The tranquil, rural setting can also be enjoyed from the rear with a furnished patio and a 2 person hot tub. The spacious studio has two living spaces and comes fully self contained and is set on 1/2 an acre of parklike grounds surrounded by larger acres and is situated close to Historic Windsor, Wilberforce and Richmond.

The cafes and coffee shops of the quaint village of Kurrajong are 5 minutes away. Your hosts live on the top floor of the large two storey home with your self contained apartment with all facilities taking up the bottom floor. The alpacas are very friendly and love to be fed by hand.

This barn dates back to 1830's but it has been fully renovated to a studio apartment with all modern comforts. It is one open space with living area and two sleeping lofts, one with queen bed, the other with 2 single beds. A bit like a giant cubby house! The shops are just 5 minute stroll away, and so is the river and train station. You share a garden with a spa and BBQ with the main house where we live.
