The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Travellers’ Rest - Historic cottage with hot tub!

Built in 1837, this historic gem operated as ‘The Travellers’ Rest Inn - a place for Drovers bringing cattle and other livestock to Sydney. Today, the iron bark ‘slab hut’ is remarkably intact with the addition of some mod cons and creature comforts. Cosy enough for a couple and large enough to accommodate friends or a family, the cottage sits on beautiful 5 acres abundant with fruit trees and backing on to the Wollombi Brook.
