Comfort in the Cane Fields

The 1950s cane cutters Barracks looks the same outside but inside it has become a comfortable modern guest wing to the 1920s farmhouse. On the top floor, there are two ensuite rooms with queen beds, and a third room with two single beds which has a bathroom downstairs. There is a living room and limited kitchenette (no oven or cooktop). Luxury on your own, or up to six together. There are breezy decks all around, with great views over the cane fields, set in the midst of a working farm.

There's a grocery store in town & a great op shop. The ferry can take you across the river to Yamba. Poochs welcome for an extra fee.

This architecturally renovated beach house has a large open plan living and dining area, with lake and sweeping bush views. Pure serenity. Three double rooms to accomodate a medium sized family. If wildlife watching and bushwalking is more your thing you can enjoy long walks through the 40 year old pecan orchards, Palm tree plantations and the Australian bush that surrounds the house on the 100 acre property.
