By day you watch the stream of floater and kayakers, by early evening it’s the wildlife’s turn with eagles, owls and crane take over the banks of the river.

PRIVATE HOT TUB! We call this intriguing little place, The Bigfoot Inn. The cabin is located 1/4 mi off of Hwy 10 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is less than 2 mi from the Illinois River. Plenty of parking available. This adorable space is 400 sq ft with a loft and a room divider is provided for added privacy. The loft has a TV, queen size bed, twin size bed, seating and bedding. The first floor has a single hide-a-bed and seating. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape in the woods.

Come relax with the family! This one bedroom guest house is just a stones throw from private access to the Illinois river. Located 15 minutes from Tahlequah and 10 minutes from local float venues. Bring Your Own Float Devices and enjoy floating down to Todd Landing public access point, which is about an hour long adventure. Relax on the deck while enjoying the local wildlife! Sip your morning coffee in forest serenity, while birds sing and squirrels play. Bring tick repellent from spring to fall. These are Ozark woods! Property not suitable for babies and small children.

Hogeye Hideaway is located in a private setting with a beautiful view of the Ozarks Mountains. However, only a short drive to Devils Den State Park & University of Arkansas/Dickson Street. This is a great place for a couples retreat or for groups looking to attend local events in Northwest Arkansas. Enjoy the indoor fireplace on cold days or the outdoor fire pit with S’mores! There is also room for camping tents for additional guests or for the kids & dog to run!
