We have a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, fire pit, and plenty of toys and games for the whole family. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

Or try out locally owned businesses just 6.5 miles drive to Dexter such as Hickory Log and Dexter BBQ!

About 20 minutes from Poplar Bluff. outdoor gas grill and a small charcoal grill and patio with a fire pit in a large yard. We have weak wifi . No smoking!

Observe wildlife sightings from the deck while soaking in the private hot tub, sleep comfortably in a queen size pillowtop Serta bed on a Motion Air base, and relax as you enjoy the ambience of the fireplace.

Secluded Cabin on BlackRiver/ Hot tub- NO PETS!

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

This guesthouse is located on the grounds of an historic, 1898, Dexter home. While a studio floor plan, it offers a queen bed, living room area, a small bathroom and a kitchenette. There is a smart TV, internet, a small fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The decor is a warm, cottage theme that is changed with the seasons. A small porch offers outdoor seating for 2. Beside the garage is a fire bowl and chairs guests may use. An assortment of snacks and drinks await you!
