Be immersed in the peace and quiet of a Tuscan olive orchard by staying in this stone farmhouse which features traditional architectural elements such as terra cotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and original wood fixtures. Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

All our guests are invited to enjoy the farm, collect vegetables, and spend time with the farm animals. We are 40 min from Cinque Terre, Lerici, Portovenere, and Levanto.

Ci troviamo immersi nella natura. La torre risalente a circa 500 anni fa, importante segnaletica portuale tramite un faro per tutti i ricercatori di terra ferma, è il pezzo forte della casa. L'accesso privato alla spiaggia e il panorama saranno un esperienza indimenticabile. La dimora costruita nella roccia sotto il castello di San Terenzo, nel Golfo dei Poeti, da la possibilità all' ospite di sentirsi al sicuro. Venire a visitare questo posto sarà come vivere un pezzo di storia del paese!

"IL MARE IN CASA" apartment is located in Riomaggiore's marina, its a former fisher's household with a wonderful terrace just above the sea, the view is incredible. Very close to shops, cafes and restaurants, but also to the train station and next to the ferry station. The apartment is equipped with every comfort: Wi-Fi, Air conditioning, ceiling fan, microwave, hairdryer, NESPRESSO coffee machine, and much more. All the products are tested and the environment is regularly sanitized.

The sea and park view from the apartment is magnificent. Lerici is a very attractive and charming coastal town at the Golfo dei Poeti close to nice tourist attractions such as Cinque Terre, Portovenerre, Parma, Genoa,Portofino, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Forte Dei Marmi, etc.

The house is perfect for a relaxing holiday and it is not far from the mediterranean coast and the Cinque Terre (Unesco Heritage).
