Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Forest Tiny House | Fire Pit | Olympic Peninsula

Tucked into a lush rain forest, this cozy and private tiny house is a peaceful retreat for slowing down. Wake to birdsong and filtered light through the towering trees, enjoy coffee or wine outdoors on the deck, grill dinner and gather by the fire pit as stars appear through the forest canopy. A simple, thoughtfully designed base for exploring the port towns and the Olympic Peninsula — or doing nothing at all. That's how we planned it. Small pets welcome. Featured in the "Old Town Road " Airbnb ad : A forested, 40 acre, dog friendly estate with walking trails, birdwatching pond, access to a pristine private beach, 1 minute drive to Pt. Robinson lighthouse, horses, wildlife, BBQ & fire pit (seasonal) . Beautifully decorated, fully appointed kitchen, wood stove, claw foot tub/shower in the bathroom , bedroom with a comfy queen bed & large closet, queen sofa bed & in main living area. (30 min. drive) or 10 min. to Kingston ferries (walk-on or car). Near beach, golf (White Horse GC) & miles of hiking/biking trails, close to shopping & restaurants. Good for couples/singles. Sunset Lagoon Retreat is located on a private island in the Puget Sound of Washington. Enjoy your own private beach, paddle boat, kayaks, row boat, seafood filled lagoon, & spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains all framed in a different Sunset every evening. Outdoor activities to experience without leaving your retreat. How about fresh oysters, mussels or clams for dinner from your own seafood farm? Spend your days kayaking, roasting marshmallows by the fire, or just unwinding in the cozy living space. I love sharing this space and can’t wait for you to experience it. The adorable second bedroom provides a special place for children to feel right at home, or a private spot to unwind.
