Beautiful KVI Beach is a short walk, through a tree-lined neighborhood, from my cozy sunlit home. A 10-minute drive brings you to a new Center for the Arts, several individually-owned art galleries, two grocery stories, and a variety of regionally-recognized and locally-loved restaurants. My 100-year-old house has color and character, a wrap-around deck, views of water and Mt. Rainier, friendly neighbors, and lush landscape. A peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The Cabin Vibes at Old Pine can’t be captured in photos. Our family’s humble waterfront cabin is the perfect getaway. Walk to Tolmie State Park, enjoy magical views of Puget Sound, and only 15 minutes from downtown Olympia. You’ll love the coziness, trees, comfy beds, views, and of course the legendary outdoor clawfoot bathtub. Vashon Island Beach Cottage

A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

Vashon Island Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet at the Cottage at Useful Bear Farm. Great for families, couples, friends. Vashon has lots to offer year-round: hiking, biking, beaches, bird-watching, or just relax and unwind. Conveniently located near the north-end ferry and close to town with great shops and restaurants. Full kitchen, bathroom and living/dining room on the first floor. Upstairs is a large sleeping loft with a queen bed, trundle bed, and sofa bed. A portion of proceeds go to local housing programs.

The Little Blue House in Central Tacoma

Enjoy your stay in this fully renovated home in Central Tacoma. In this charming 1910 two bedroom, two bathroom home you're close to all the restaurants and entertainment on 6th Avenue, just a short drive from the zoo at Point Defiance, concerts at Dune Peninsula, and the beautiful new waterfront at Point Ruston. This cozy haven is an 8 minute drive from the Tacoma Dome for concerts and events and centrally located for day trips to sightseeing on the Olympic Peninsula and nearby Seattle.

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Unwind from the hurly burly in this bright, cozy cottage. You'll find a spacious, full kitchen, living room area, and Queen bed. Enjoy coffee in a sitting area behind the cottage, or spend a relaxing evening there by the fire. Walk to trails, tennis courts, coffee roastery, and Vashon Center for the Arts. A mile and a half from the shops and restaurants of Vashon town. There's a pullout couch in the living room area. Full bath. 650 sq. ft.
