Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life? Enjoy our family's peaceful 16 acre nature preserve ranch. This unique property offers rolling hills, canyons, prairies, and beautiful streams and rivers that run throughout. Our treehouse cabin sits above the creek bed and offers stunning views. Relax and unwind as you listen to the birds chirping, trees blowing, and water running down the riverbed. The entire property is available for your private use to explore and enjoy during your stay.

Our Van Alstyne retreat offers the perfect blend of peace, space, and style. Unlike a typical suburban stay, this home sits on private land surrounded by wide-open Texas skies, giving you room to breathe and truly relax. Spacious Living: 4,000 sq. ft. of open, bright interiors designed for comfort. Private Outdoor Space: A full acre, fenced for privacy, with beautiful ranch surroundings. Quiet & Secluded: Enjoy the calm of the countryside, yet still be close to McKinney, Sherman, and Dallas.

The Countryside Suite

This country suite is located on a beautiful property right outside city limits. Comfortable queen bed, full-size sofa bed, desk, tv, mini fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Everything you need for your stay! The room is attached to a shop about 1 acre from our main house. Shop area isn’t used much, but if needed during your stay, you will be notified prior to use. Van Alstyne is a quaint small town with vintage shops and restaurants. Come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

Emma's Place (Hot tub/ Back Porch)

One-bedroom guesthouse with a private entrance, full kitchen, pantry, bathroom, and laundry room. The bedroom features a king-size Tempur-Pedic mattress, desk, TV, and spacious closet. A pack ’n play and twin mattress are available for added flexibility. Enjoy our shared breezeway porch with an outdoor fireplace and peaceful views into our wooded 12-acre backyard. Perfect for wedding weekends, lake trips, or a quiet countryside escape. Also well-suited for comfortable long-term stays.

The Harrison House

Your family will be close to everything Melissa has to offer when you stay at this centrally-located place. Right at the heart of downtown Melissa, you are only a short distance from local shops, salons, and restaurants. It is also only a 7-minute drive to The Z-Plex Texas Sports Village. There is one king-sized bed, one queen, and two twin beds that can be pulled out and put in either of the bedrooms. In the living space, there are two seating areas and a shuffleboard table.
