Great Room Layout: The main living space is light and airy, arranged in an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Leather couches ground the living room and provide a cozy space to curl up and read, work on a laptop, watch satellite TV, or enjoy the gas fireplace. From the living room, sliding doors open unto a large view deck which overlooks Alki Beach and has 180 degree views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. You'll love using the gas grill to cook the fresh salmon you bring back from the Pike Place Market. Also included on the lower level is a laundry room, which adds convenience for longer stays. Parking: It is easy to park two cars at the unit, one inside the single car attached garage and the other in the driveway. Additional parking is available for free on the street nearby. Privacy: This rental unit is the upper portion of a duplex. The home's modern construction affords complete privacy between this and the lower unit. We are always available by text, phone, or e-mail, but otherwise respect the privacy of our guests. Alki Beach is a great place to be on a sunny day, wth families playing volleyball or exploring the tide pools as the water recedes. Parallel to the beach, there's a flat, well-maintained path, perfect for cyclists, runners, and rollerbladers. We will have a manager on-site to help with check in and check outs. The manager's number, are on call at all times, and can be there in less than 10 min. for any issues. Located near the Newport Pier, there are hundreds of great places to eat, shop and play within walking distance. With a safe, friendly town square 40 yards away, the children can roam in a secure environment. The best way to experience Newport is by the boardwalk. Either walking or riding bikes. This house comes with 8 bikes. Plenty enough to take everyone out for a fun ride! Make sure to lock the bikes up when you go.
