The cottage is equipped with keyless entry, fiber optic high speed internet, smart TVs, washer and dryer, mini-split A/C and heat, and a fully functional kitchen. The two bedrooms have Sealy memory foam mattresses (Queen).

This home features an open concept with vaulted living area, large kitchen, expansive bedroom with spa like bathroom. A short drive miles to either Boone or Blowing Rock.

This little cabin, surrounded by mountain laurels with a bubbling creek that runs behind the screened back porch, features a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed and a sleeping loft with two twins. The rustic interior is comprised of huge logs, cement chinking, with wood floors, walls, doors, and ceilings. The gas logs in the fireplace are surrounded by floor to ceiling rocks. The kitchen with stainless appliances is well appointed. One and a half baths and laundry room provide conveniences.

Our 750 sq ft. Cabin offers WiFi, streaming TV, central AC and heat, fully stocked kitchen, coffee provided, towels, comfortable bed and quality linens. We are 1/2 mile from the North Fork of New River. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountains. Dogs welcome!

Cottage on the New is a vacation home in Todd, NC with the New River running right in the front yard! ***NOTE: our private shared bridge sustained damage from Hurricane Helene and we are still waiting for it to be replaced. It looks bad, but is still usable. *** The outdoors is your playground with skiing, biking, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at your fingertips. If relaxing is your style, simply enjoy the view of the river valley from the hot tub, hammock or rocking chairs.

This home is a dream come true for our family. 2023 marked the year where that dream came to fruition alongside devastating loss. My husband passed away from cancer a mere 2 months after seeing its completion. We know he is smiling down from Heaven as friends and family fill the walls with memories. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.
