A very cozy and peaceful place to base any vacation on the South Shore out of. Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

The chabet is open concept, modern, and finished with hardwood floors, copper accents and all the basic comforts. The location makes it ideal for hiking, yoga, relaxing and oceanfront living. The house is 1300 ft2. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling, the woodstove is not for guest use.

The Alex Mclean House is a two-and-a-half storey Georgian style house. It is located on Hollis Street in Downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia and is one of the oldest house on the block. This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. We have created a charming and super comfortable retreat. We are sure our guests will enjoy the relaxing, peaceful vibe that this hidden little gem offers.
