Erowal Cottage at Jervis Bay

Cool, very spacious and super relaxed retro style cottage. Filled with travel treasures mixed with funky and functional retro stuff. A short drive to all the fabulous beaches, villages and national parks of Jervis Bay. The cottage is set amid towering gums and surrounded by a tropical, edible garden, with an emphasis on permaculture principles, including worm farms and frog ponds. Recycled and re-purposed items have been utilised to create garden art and to make a Byron-meets-Bali feel.

Built with recycled timbers and antique building materials it looks like it has been there for more than a century. It has just been fully renovated and has all new appliances. This design inspired cottage provides a place for up to 6 people to take in the sunset sitting by the open fire, then wake to collect fresh eggs and watch the horses, cows and kangaroos graze, or wander down to the creek for a picnic. The cottage is fully enclosed in a fenced area 800m2. We have changed the fencing so none is electric.

We have lovingly restored it with a country cottage kitchen, hand crafted interior finishes, a comfortable mezzanine bedroom and a deck and barbeque area to maximise guests’ enjoyment of the beautiful rainforest surrounds. Murray's Farm Cottage is situated in Conjola on the NSW South Coast, approximately 10 minutes north of Milton. The cottage was built in the 1920s and has recently been renovated and retains it's original charm and character. It has sensational views over alluvial flood plains, while at the back door there is natural bushland. The surrounding paddocks are home to cattle and horses.
