Built in 1897 this house oozes freo style. Take your morning coffee on the front porch, GnTs on the back deck as the sun goes down then light the fire, pour a red and put on a record later in the evening. But if you’re feeling more adventurous….. Walk to the Markets and onto the cool bars and cafes of central Freo. Then venture south to the cools bars like Percy Flint and La Cabana. Pets allowed if arranged. NOTE- after a recent review we have changed the blow up bed to a proper double bed

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.

Heritage Home East

Just a few minutes walk to South Beach for the nature lovers and the South Terrace Strip for the award winning restaurant and small bar lovers, a unique slice of Fremantle history, lovingly restored and maintained awaits you. In 2025 a new hot water system was installed and the spa is again fully functional. The rooms are large, the kitchen well equipped. Reverse cycle air conditioners, a wood fire and room fans help regulate the temperatures inside the home.
