Enjoy a 125+ year old country home with large yard and beautiful shade trees located on a 100-acre farm in the rolling hills of SE Missouri. The house is very clean and spacious with 4 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, beautiful hardwood floors and a large living room. We have hand-made quilts and antique furniture throughout. The kitchen is fully furnished. Relax on our 40’ front porch with swing, by the fire pit or in a hammock. A perfect place for you to recharge from stress & busy schedules!

Pop’s Country Cabin

Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! Charming 1940s farmhouse. Updated 1 1/2 story house in a rural setting overlooking the Mighty Mississippi River, but close to the heart of Cape Girardeau. Our house has lots of room to relax with a large kitchen and sunroom. You can sit by a cozy fire pit and enjoy chilly evenings watching the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to you spending time in our neck of the woods (so to speak). We are located with in seven miles from the Isle casino, SEMO state university and a happening down town.

Bald Knob Cabin

Located in heart of Shawnee National Forest, Bald Knob Wilderness and River To River Trail , is a former orchard turned cozy hiker/biker haven. Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass. No WIFI or TV!

Tiny Cottage of Whittington

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Standalone, 2 BR, light, airy, upstairs apartment for 4 guests. Full kitchen, coffee bar, washer/dryer. In our small village, there is a grocery store, bank, post office, Dollar Store, library, gas station, and a park are within walking distance. I-57 is one mile. We live near a railroad crossing. If you are a very light sleeper, they may wake you. Each bedroom has a desk and sitting area and the bedside table lamp bases have outlets to charge your phone or tablet.
