UPDATE: The historic fireplace is now operational!! Just steps away from the water, the St. Clair Cottage provides beautiful views of Lake St. Clair. You will the love seclusion of nearly two acres of property surrounding the cottage. The perfect place to enjoy a sunny day on the lake or a cup of tea on a rainy day. With adult and kids kayaks, a rowboat, paddleboat, and canoe we have lots of options to get out and explore the lake. Or take a dip off the private dock when the weather is warm.

Welcome to Five Peaks Cottage. Stunning views of Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound. The cottage and companion pirate ship tree house are steps from the shore where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and leisurely beach walks. Loft bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, well equipped kitchen, wifi, large deck w/ hot tub, BBQ, bar. Fire pit and lawn at waters edge. On 23 acre horse farm with 510 feet of private beach and 1 1/2 miles of walking trails. Relax, enjoy eagles, blue heron, seals, and an occasional Orca.

The exceptional Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Welcome to the French Library, an all inclusive, stand alone, luxurious King Suite guest cottage, sister unit to The French Country Cottage. Wake up in the shadow of 150+ year old French doors repurposed as a headboard from the Villa Menier in Cannes, France and antique books from the estate of James A. Come relax at Shadie Pines! You can sit back and enjoy the view of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier from the deck (or from in the hot tub!), listen to the birds sing and the seals barking, and say hello to the friendly neighborhood deer. The house is comfortably situated in the middle of the Hartstene Pointe gated community, which has a number of great amenities for you to enjoy. Our favorite features are the 5 miles of walking trails and beaches all around the point, the pool and pickleball!

Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Secluded Serenity Cottage

Your journey to serenity is a lovely 5-to-8-minute walk down a historic hillside to the secluded community of Sunrise Beach. Walking down the private driveway you may see a family of deer on your left when you pass the Historical Marker. As you walk past the houses and cabins on the waterfront, you might be reminded of Silverstein’s charming “Where the Sidewalk Ends.” The reward for your journey will be the treasure waiting for you at “the prettiest cottage on the beach.”
