Drink in the panoramic view of the South Santiam River in our funky yurt! The yurt is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, futon, rocking chair, mini dinette, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Plates, glasses, silverware, bedding, and towels provided. Yurt is located near the main house, yet a privacy courtyard had been created for additional solitude. Hot showers and flushing toilets are in a separate, unheated building about a 3 minute walk away. Glamping at its finest!

And while unsupervised schmoozing with the horses isn't allowed, if you'd like we'll be glad to introduce you to some of the herd. The living area, dining, bathroom, and sleeping areas are upstairs and are an open loft. This property is on a dead end road surrounded by privately owned timber tree farm. It has river frontage along the the Roaring River. It has a private picnic area along the river to enjoy the sun and shade during the day.

Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.

Our residence is located in a beautiful wooded area of south Salem with easy access to Interstate 5.

150 ft. walk down a steep driveway takes you to a unique private little studio with everything an adventurous spirit needs. You must be in physically good shape to handle this location. We have friendly dogs you may see outside. 30 min. to SE Portland, 45 to PDX, One hour to Mt. Hood, 40 min to waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge. Pool open June 15 through September 5th. Can accommodate a 3pm check-in all days except Tuesdays.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in the country. We are conveniently located between Salem and Albany and only 1/2 mile from I-5. Our comfortable and well appointed apartment has beautiful views of the orchards and farm fields that surround us. Our small horse farm will make you feel calm and serene as you enjoy your stay at the Roddy Ranch. Please be aware, this is an upstairs apartment.
