The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The cabin sits on a picturesque half acre lot, minutes away from great restaurants, markets, golf course, biking and amazing hiking trails. Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. Garden Apartment

Close to PDX, Portland and the Columbia River Gorge. The Garden Apartment has a private entrance from the main house. The bedroom has a queen bed along with two futons in the living area. There is a full kitchen and laundry room. Enjoy a beautiful view of the Columbia River from the covered patio with a futon for lounging, and table and chairs for your outdoor enjoyment. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.

Escape to nature’s beauty at this serene retreat on 23 wooded acres overlooking the Sandy River. Sip coffee on the heated wraparound deck, curl up by the stone fireplace, or soak in the hot tub under the stars. Hike the private trails, discover the pond, and unwind in the sauna. Thoughtfully designed for relaxation, with cozy nooks, books, and breathtaking views. Well-trained dogs welcome! No cats or other pets due to severe owner allergy.

The Hideout | A Modern Tiny Cabin Near Mt. Hood

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.
