Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Take a hike in nearby Baker Preserve, stroll along the beach, bike the island, bird watch, or head out for a day trip. Adventure awaits!

Our waterfront apartment has majestic views of Alice Bay. Our private beach is a dynamic tidal flat with the water moving in & out twice daily - always changing. It is central to excellent Skagit Valley birding, scenery, tulips and out door adventure. Private cove for nature lovers; close to hip, historic Edison, restaurants, art galleries; central to Bellingham & Anacortes (30 min), Seattle & Vancouver, BC (90 min each), beautiful walks from your front door. You'll want to come back!

Samish Island Suite on the Beach

Waterfront home Guest Wing with separate entrance, full bath, and bedroom with Queen Size Murphy Bed which folds away during the day. You can prepare light meals and the town of Edison, 6 miles away, has great dining options. Bring bikes, kayaks and cameras for exploring. Our large yard & deck with firepit, heater &barbecue will be safely shared. You will hear noise from the main house during non quiet hours and I will be doing various chores and coming and going through the yard.

Built in 2007, it's an authentic log cabin, custom designed out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Enjoy the rustic-yet-elegant vibe, radiant heated floors, cozy loft bed, outdoor bbq and private location. Located 10 min. west of La Conner, guests can browse shops, adventure on unique hikes, or enjoy a relaxing beach stroll.

The Flat at Chuckanut Manor

Conveniently located between Bellingham and Mount Vernon, WA, this apartment, above the iconic Chuckanut Manor Restaurant, is perched over Samish Bay, with killer views of the bay and the San Juan Islands. Enjoy Sunsets on the patio and/or order dinner to be delivered to your door from the Chuckanut Manor Restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Includes one King Bedroom and one Queen Bedroom and one full bathroom. Also a fully equipped kitchen.
