"Tam labam būs augt" (What's Good Will Grow) is an open-type restaurant with the most exclusive seats at the bar, which is located in the middle of the room so that the visitors can watch Juris, Ēriks and Mārtiņš make their Gastronomic Happening. Most meals are served on a paper card or a granite tablet (but there are plates, too!), and in a very artistic manner. The guests are handed their meals by the chef, who also tells them of what the culinary work of art is made of. The chefs are willing to chat about taste varieties, products, gastronomic experiments, therefore the visitors may, if not become gourmets, learn many interesting things. The cooking process is also part of the modern concept of the restaurant. Most meals are prepared in vacuum or using the slow cooking method (thermal processing of products at comparatively low temperatures over a long period of time, up to 8 hours, which guarantees preserving the product's natural flavour, texture and valuable ingredients). The menu is locally patriotic, laconic, seasonal, and very changeable - so it does not bore visitors, nor the chefs.

The Lucavsala park attracts children, those who prefer active recreation and other residents who want to enjoy nature while remaining close to the city centre.
Swimming
The park has a swimming area equipped with changing cabins. The beach has been designed so that both children and adults can swim safely. It is located right across from Zaķusala island, granting a view that will make you forget you are in the centre of the city. There is a shoal in the middle of the river which can be safely reached from the bank and volleyball pitches next to the bathing area. Playground
The playground has everything children need to have fun - they can jump, slide, climb, or play in a sandbox. They can also make new friends among the many children who visit! Wakepark
The wakepark is located on the right side of the island, in front of the TV centre. The park has a 230-metre long cable system for wakeboarding. At the moment, the park is equipped with two kickers (trampolines), one 3 metres high, which is perfect for learning air raley and other tricks. It also has a 19-metre long slide for beginners and a 18-metre long slide for more experienced riders. Next to the park there is a nice cafe that on weekends hosts parties and screens open-air movies. Equipment rental is available. Life vests, helmets and the advice of an instructor are provided free of charge. (Link to a wakeboarding record) On Sundays yoga enthusiasts gather in Lucavsala. On warm summer evenings, the park is frequented by locals who come here for a night swim and romantic atmosphere.
How to get here
By car After reaching the Salu bridge / Mūkusalas Street roundabout, turn next to the Neste service station and K-Rauta store; then turn left and you’ve arrived.
By public transit Take trolleybus No. 19 and get off at the “Lucavsala” stop
On bicycle Cross Akmens or Salu bridge. The ride takes 20 minutes.
