Italian Restaurant with a Mexican twist. Simple, relatively cheap, relaxed, off the beaten track, food is quite decent.
*I haven't been here in like 3 years so I have no idea if it is the same... i'd recommend googling it and checking recent reviews.

Great coffee, guy roasts his own beans. Much cheaper than Starbucks. He currently has 2 locations that I know of. One inside the Aramara neighborhood which is close by to the apartment and another inside the Galerias shopping mall.

Argentinian Steak House. Expensive but good in a fancy way. Close to the apartment.

Can't go wrong with Outback. It's near the apartment. Great place to go if you don't want tacos, or to go very far.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays they do breakfast, get the eggs benedict.

Quite a famous place in PV, just across from the airport. Does great seafood burritos. Great photos of Vallarta back in the 50s, 60s and 70s.

One of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch.
It's got a tex mex vibe going on. Good food, reasonably priced, nice decorations.
*I'll keep this on here in the hope that it returns to its original glory... the last couple of times I have gone, I haven't been impressed.

One of Vallarta's top places. It's not my cup of tea, a bit pretentious and to be honest, I've never had a meal there that made me feel it was anything special. Also, it's expensive. Saying that... it always has good reviews and some people have said amazing things about it... so... check it out if you want. I will say that the service is phenomenal and the restaurant is beautiful.

German restaurant. One of my favorites. Great decor. Good beer and food. If you can, try to find out on their website when they do their all you can eat buffet for 250 pesos... it's awesome!

This is a new restaurant and I really liked it when I went there. The concept is awesome... it's all about Puerto Vallarta culture and cuisine. It's expensive but it's worth it!

Relatively new, it's one of my favorite places for breakfast. They have a cool deck out back that overlooks one of the golf courses water hazards. Every morning, iguanas sun themselves on the trees there.
