If you are looking for an independent film, you will most likely find it at Kimball's. It's about a mile away (downtown) and you could easily bike there in the summer. They serve drinks here which can make a boring movie seem better!

Huge park in the center of town. If you have dogs, go to the Yucca Flats area and they can run off leash. Palmer Park is a great place to mountain bike as well.

This unique park is really large as well. It is a great place for rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. There is a small off leash dog area but dogs can go on most trails there. We have seen fossils embedded into rock wall along the Cordell trail on the east side of the park.

3550 W High StThis unique park is really large as well. It is a great place for rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. There is a small off leash dog area but dogs can go on most trails there. We have seen fossils embedded into rock wall along the Cordell trail on the east side of the park.
This park is enormous and has tons of hiking trails. Mount Cutler and Mount Muscoco are some beginner favorites. We like to take our dogs on the Seven Bridges trail as well.

This is the most famous park in Colorado Springs. There are lots of trails to hike or mountain bike and you can rock climb there as well. We don't go too often because it's usually crowded and not very dog friendly, but it's hard to visit Colorado Springs and not visit this park.
