Very simple, but cosy restaurant right at Boxhagener Platz. If you prefer eating something different than the usual food in Berlin: Try the pelmenis - small pockets of dough filled with seasoned, minced meat (Vegetarian options available)!

A wide range of very good and special dishes from Southeast Asia served in small bowls each 3-4€. Would not recommend Transit for alcoholic drinks (there are plenty of bars around the corner though), but definetly for the food!

Nice cafe on your way to Ostkreuz. Also serves snacks like soups and sandwiches. Very cosy inside in winter, but also great for an evening drink in the sun!

It wont get more typical Berlin than this (...but don't expect a hip, modern place)! Traditional and family-run restaurant furnished with lovely mixed vintage pieces serving traditional German dishes.

great place to enjoy Turkish breakfast dishes. My favorite part: They produce their own bread! Try the Menemen (mixed eggs) for breakfast or Manti for lunch!
