Mandela was already in detention, having been caught near Durban six months before. His case, and one other, was combined into one massive trial known as the Rivonia Trials, which sentenced ten trialists to life imprisonment on Robben Island. Beautiful restaurant and bookshop. It also hosts events such as book launches and lectures.
