City/town information
Verona is the most romantic city in the word. Famous for the Shakespeare tale Romeo and Juliet. You can visit the house of Juliet and take a picture of her balcony.
Verona is a city reach of history, starting with the Arena in Piazza Bra. The Arena is open to visitors during the day and in summertime it host musical, concerts and Operas. Get the tickets in advance if you want to experience the magic of an event inside the Arena. From the Roman era is also the Teatro Romano an Amphitheater close to the Adige river. In August don't miss the ballets shows.
Verona is also known for its beautiful churches, there are many all around the city, get lost and follow the clock tower you can see raising your head to the sky. Don't miss Duomo, San Zeno, Santa Anastasia.
The city is crossed by the river Adige, and there are several bridges, the most beautiful and famous are ponte Pietra and Ponte Vecchio, I guarantee you will take fantastic pictures.
Other famous squares are Piazza Erbe and Piazza dei Signori. Here you will fide the tallest tower of the city. Get to the top and admire the city.
Don't miss the Arche Scaligere (close to Piazza dei Signori) and the city view from Castel San Pietro (close to Teatro Romano).
