My favorite spot for a good swim
One of my favorite places to go in my off time to enjoy the outdoors and the ocean. Big hot tub, changing rooms and showers. Man made sea defences close off beautiful loon where the ocean mixes with warm geothermal water, so you can enjoy the ocean in a higher temperature.
Beautiful walk as well, which takes aprox. 25 min.

Close by and quick for easy meal. Surprisingly good here compared to elsewhere in Europe, in my opinion.

Gerðarsafn is an Art Museum only 8 min. walk away. It was opened in 1994 in honor of Gerður Helgadóttur to keep her memory alive. You can visit to experience her artwork amongst other exhibitions going on during the summer.
They have nice coffee house on the ground floor where you can have a coffee or lunch.

There are great cafe and restaurant on the top floors of the building where you can enjoy coffee and cakes or a good dinner.
