Pretty much a holy place ;), if you didn't see the murals around the city, Hajduk and Torcida are a pretty big deal in Split. Would recommend visiting if there is a game during your stay, the atmosphere is something else. But choose tickets for east or west, north can be a bit too much for first timers. :)

Make sure to wear proper shoes (no flip flops etc)and outfit (there can be snakes in the summer) and always bring some food and water. Enjoy the mountain but respect its force as well. You don't want to be one of the tourists we hear about in the news ;)
