The Ozark Mountain Biscuit Truck has long been a staple of local Columbia Missouri. They have recently put down some roots with a brick and mortar location. They are right across the street from Log Boat. I have found it hard to get a vegetarian meal that is veggie heavy without a lot of substitution or $$. It is good and filling and will make you want a nap!

If you are a person with allergies or dietary restrictions, you'll want to check this place out. Even if you can eat everything on this planet and be fine, their food really has amazing flavor. This is not the place to go for large portions. They have odd hours so check before you go. Highly recommend this place.

Hands down my favorite place to eat in columbia. This place has been around as long as I can remember, the family that owns this bakery are family friends. This is a great place to go for lunch, buy bread, or grab some snacks for the road. They're soups are always good, I often get two spinach turnovers. They make great sour dough bread, they olive bread is my favorite (available on fridays). I could go on, my final recommendation is there granola bars, very filling and yummy with lots of seeds!

Closest coffee shop. A friend of mine recently described the vibe as "contemporary Christian". I have not been since it was Three Story Coffee, but I have heard it is good. They have like your average pastries.

Not only do they have bikes and bike gear, they also have quality hiking and camping gear. Even if you just go in to browse or you buy a fancy E-bike, the employees are all Townies and can give you great local recommendations if you don't find what you're looking for on this list.

This is where the MKT trail begins. you can ride your, walk, run, walk your dog. The MKT connects to the KATY trail. Because these trails used to be railroad tracks, they are very flat and uniform. The trail is wide enough for passing. It is a really beautiful and safe way to get to the south part of town. There are many places in columbia to get on the MKT. This particular park if often occupied by various houses people and people who live outside. Acrossthe street there is a spray park and play ground.
