This is a wonderful park to enjoy a walk. In the summer, you can also rent canoes and tubes from the livery, which is a favorite activity of mine.

This is a really small grocery store near the house that focuses on organic and non-GMO items. It can be a little pricey but they are only a few blocks away and they have a surprisingly large selection of grocery items for being so small. Cafe Verde has a coffee/smoothies/pastries counter and a selection of prepared meals in the back. I recommend walking since there is not much parking near the store.
