You might find it hard to believe, but we're bordered by about 20 reservoirs and London's largest wildlife conservation area. The Lee Valley Park runs all the way to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (3km away). It's a great place for picnics and the canal tow paths are super safe for cyclists, taking you practically anywhere in London. The Victorian beam engine in Markfield Park opens Sundays.
