Famous for hosting the Common People and Let's Rock music festivals among other things. There is a 5k park run every Saturday at 9am there.

The art gallery in the main library North side of the Guildhall is well worth a visit showing off many famous pieces of artwork. It is also worth walking through East park just behind Guildhall square where there is a mini golf course and 2 outdoor tennis courts. All within 10 minutes walk.
