Stunning spots nearby

Famous for cliff jumping, the stunning Blue Lagoon is well worth a visit. Whether you want the adrenaline rush of high cliff jumps or simply a gorgeous swim and a picnic, this is well worth a visit. Beautiful walks in either direction along the coast path too if you want to extend the day. If you have a kayak or SUP you can either launch from Abereiddy beach by the carpark, or if its too rough walk the 5 mins to the blue lagoon. Just be aware that in the summer peak season the car park get full fairly early in the day so you may want to factor that in. Further parking is usually available up the hill, but if you have lots too carry an early start may be better.

Fantastic ice-cream made on site from their own dairy cows. Added extra is that it is a beautiful walk down with your ice-cream to the beach, a little cove tucked away from the crowds, and waking distance from Solva or Newgale.
