This is a magical forest experience. The 800yr old Outeniqua Yellowwood is situated close to the entrance of the forest area. But there is a circular 2km hiking trail which should not be missed. Look out for all the fun forest fungi with its amazing colours and shapes.

There are lifeguards on duty during peak holiday times and this makes for safe swimming when one keeps between the pole flags. The lagoon area is also a firm favourite for kids - but parents should keep an eye on them at all times as the lagoon mouth is open at times and pockets with deep hole areas can occur.
