Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Snowbird Creek Cabin, Flyfish, Tail of the Dragon

Our Snowbird Creek Cabin is cool and relaxing. It is just minutes from “Tail of the Dragon”. It is a fly fisherman’s paradise also. Hiking trails and waterfalls abound, or just kick back and relax in the pristine setting of the Snowbird Back Country. We will allow one dog 25 pounds or under to come. No exceptions for bigger dogs. I will request a picture of the dod. The dog will not be allowed on furniture. I live next door, so i will know if my rules are not obeyed.

This one of a kind, like new, white pine, 2/2 log cabin is absolutely perfect in every way! Cathedral ceilings, rock fireplace, comfortable rooms, large bathrooms, wood floors, fully equipped kitchen, great room with picture window, wrap around deck! The cabin is equipped with linens/towels and most everything you need to cook a meal., just bring groceries and personal items. This cabin is also handicap accessible. WIFI is now available. Cozy vintage cabin on beautiful Lake Santeetlah. Enjoy the water views from the screened in porch, dip your feet in the clear lake on the private dock, or take a kayak out to explore the coastline. In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. The famous Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, beautiful Lake Santeetlah, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Appalachian Trail, Fontana Lake, Bryson City , Nantahala, Harris Cherokee and Valley River Casinos are all just a short drive (30-45 min.).
