Palmento San Nicolò

Nestled on a quiet country road in the heart of a vineyard planted on Monte San Nicolo, the accommodation includes 2 buildings, a Palmento from 1902 which houses the wine press and its outbuilding which was once used as a tool shed. The two spaces are united by a corten structure with a slatted roof, which provides a shady open plan kitchen and dining area next to a terrace and 4m x 7m salt water swimming pool, built in lava stone, recreating the the colours of the Etna coastline

Vivi un'esperienza unica in un ex-avamposto della Guardia Costiera. Il mare ti accompagnerà in ogni tua giornata. L'edificio si trova in una zona naturalistica protetta, con mare cristallino. Si accede tramite una tipica strada di campagna con antiche basole in pietra lavica: ti consiglio una macchina un po' più alta. A circa 900m è presente il paese con botteghe locali. L'autostrada è a 10 min. e si arriva a Taormina in 20 min.

It is accessed via a typical country road with ancient lava stone paving stones: I recommend a slightly higher car, like the Panda. At about 900m there is the village with local shops. The highway is 10 min. and you arrive in Taormina in 20 min.
