Artfully Renovated Stone House Overlooking the City of Noto

Ancient walls and modern conveniences coexist in peaceful harmony in this architect's house. Glazed doors in the bedrooms and living areas open onto a rolling landscape. Dine alfresco on a sheltered patio and go for a swim in a pool with a view. Le Casuzze is a holiday home which was completed in the summer of 2017 and designed by an architect from Bologna. It is perfectly integrated in the landscape behind the baroque town of Noto, and offers a superb view of the sea, the town and the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Finding a balance between luxury and simplicity is difficult task, which the the architect has mastered incredibly well. The three bedrooms (all of which have a separate en-suite bathroom) have replaced the stables, whilst the living room is placed in the old housing quarters. There where empty space previously separated the two buildings now stands the kitchen. A fourth bathroom is accessible via the living-room. All the rooms are connected with one another and can also be accessed via the outside terraces, which face the south and east respecitively – the former offering a superb panomaric view of the surrounding landscape. The seven-by-seven-meter large pool was designed to resemble a Gebbia: an antique water reservoir; The pool area constituting the transition between the house and the mediterranean Macchia. The entire property is defined by an incredibly calm and harmonious atmosphere and is the perfect place to wind down. Le Casuzze is located on a beautiful ridge behind Noto, overlooking the city and the sea. Take wonderful walks through the Mediterranean scrub from here, undisturbed by the few houses in the neighborhood.

Bella casa di campagna con piscina, situata sulle colline di Noto. La proprietà è perfettamente integrata nel meraviglioso paesaggio circostante, circondata da ulivi e mandorli. E’ composta da un’ampia zona living/cucina con un forno a legna per pizze, una stanza per la lettura, due camere da letto matrimoniali, di cui una con bagno en suite, e un bagno grande con vasca. Sul retro della casa vi è un ampio patio raccolto all'ombra di un bel ficus australis, completo di doccia esterna e barbecue.

Plemmyrium is a beautiful residence to spend nice moments in front of the sea. The Villa, for 6 people, it has a kitchen, 3 bedrooms sea view, living room, 2 bathrooms, a portico terrace seaview. Upstairs there is an independent apartment for 2 people max with an additional cost. The house is surrounded by a unique atmosphere and silence. The garden, with aromatic Mediterranean plants, includes a relax area with deck chairs and swimming pool as well as barbecue and laundry room.

“unpostoaparte" è una grande casa in legno (Xlam) nella quale viviamo e nella quale abbiamo realizzato tre camere, ognuna con ingresso indipendente, che si affacciano sul mare della riserva marina del Plemmirio. Gli aromi delle piante del giardino mediterraneo con palme, capperi, gelsomino, menta, basilico e citronella mischiati alla brezza marina rendono l’aria frizzante e profumata, la riserva protetta è a pochi metri dalla stanza….

"La Gebbia"

The house is dated in the late 800, set in the residential area of the Syracusan's, it represented the area where the noble families used to come to get some fresh air and peace. It is only 10 Km from Syracuse. There is an olive grove, and a mediterranean shrub that together stretch for about 20.000 square meters. During our hot Sicilian summer days, it is very pleasant to stroll and relax in several shadowed path.

Our house offers a beautiful garden with tropical plants and a big swimmingpool. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with tub and shower and a well-equipped kitchen. There is also a babybed if needed, free of charge, please request when booking. There is a wonderful private guest veranda to enjoy as well. Free parking inside the premises.
