Main Railway Station. 400m to the right is Lygon St Brunswick, renowned for the great cafes, restaurants of diverse cuisine, we have counted 21 on a stretch of less than 300m, the exclusive Woodstock Pizzicheria, 400 Gradi the true Napoli Pizza (awarded 2014 World Champion), Quarry Pub, or across the street is our favourite L'Amour & Gelobar (Gelateria, Pasticceria, Café Bakery, Tavola Calda all in one), walk or catch a tram to the City Centre via the cosmopolitan Lygon street Carlton, known as “La piccola Italia” (Little Italy) an area that burst with charm and character, enter Swanston St and you are at the centre of the Great City of Melb, turn left onto Little Burke and you are at China Town, or right to Melb Central, Myer and David Jones. Great to local shops, public transport and Sydney Road, my home is the perfect place to stay to explore Melbourne from, as well as feeling at home in the oldest part of Brunswick. Just a 20 minute, $40 to $45 Uber from the airport, you have plenty of options for staying, plus a little back yard and open studio to watch the kids play, or enjoy the afternoon sun.
