Main Railway Station. 400m to the right is Lygon St Brunswick, renowned for the great cafes, restaurants of diverse cuisine, we have counted 21 on a stretch of less than 300m, the exclusive Woodstock Pizzicheria, 400 Gradi the true Napoli Pizza (awarded 2014 World Champion), Quarry Pub, or across the street is our favourite L'Amour & Gelobar (Gelateria, Pasticceria, Café Bakery, Tavola Calda all in one), walk or catch a tram to the City Centre via the cosmopolitan Lygon street Carlton, known as “La piccola Italia” (Little Italy) an area that burst with charm and character, enter Swanston St and you are at the centre of the Great City of Melb, turn left onto Little Burke and you are at China Town, or right to Melb Central, Myer and David Jones. Open space, comfort, tranquility and prime position, 7 minutes to the City Centre, 15 to MCG, Tennis Centre, Royal Botanical Gardens, the Yarra river, Crown Casino and much more, walk, ride, or catch a Tram. Light-Filled Scandinavian Studio in Carlton North

A large light filled self contained studio home. Decorated with a scandi-minimalist palette. This well appointed home offers a full kitchen with induction cooking facilities, convection oven and all the equipment to prep a romantic meal. A bedroom area under high vaulted ceilings decked out with a queen size bed, luxury mattress and egyptian cotton sheets, is a relaxing and airy space for kicking back after a day of exploring. A stylish and modern bathroom that boasts a rain-shower is just the way to unwind and soak up the Melbourne mornings. Guests have access to their private entrance and courtyard area with an alfresco garden setting for breakfasting and sharing a yarn next to a small organic herb garden. Michele and myself are available for any questions, tall stories and any recommendations for what to do in Melbourne. Located within the greenery and parklands of Princes Hill and Historic Carlton, it's a short stroll to Rathdown Street village and the iconic "Little Italy" eateries in Lygon St. Then settle in for a movie at the local Arthouse Cinema Nova. We are located within a 5 minute walking distance to tram lines heading to the City, Sydney Road and Brunswick East and parking is available around the home or else just bike about like a true local.

Delightful self contained cottage

The cottage is self contained and is a well designed space that accommodates a queen sized bed, bathroom and a separate study and is set in an enchanting cottage garden. The well equipped kitchen is in a separate space though part of the cottage and is accessed by its own door from the decking, so you don't have far to go. In the morning lorikeets and other wild birds come to feed and you will be awoken to the romantic sound of birdsong. During spring and summer the garden is at its loveliest.

Compact ‘granny flat’, hotel style, free standing, separate access. Bedroom/desk plus bathroom. Wee Dougie is VERY SMALL, great for 1, cosy for 2. Ideal for short stays, Uni or hospital visitors or professionals, Uni graduations or a weekend just outside Melbourne CBD. As we are walking distance from the CBD there is street parking only, 1-2 hours - there is no free parking at the property. No kitchen - has hotel style coffee machine & frother, toaster, microwave, cereals & small fridge.

A uniquely Melbourne experience - perfect for an extended (or short) stay. The Stables were originally built in 1880 for the horses that serviced the Victorian home they are situated behind. The Stables have been converted into a spacious, sun-lit, private, fully self-contained accommodation over 2 levels with a shared garden and independent access (allowing you to come and go as you please). It is a short stroll to great food, leafy Edinburgh Gardens, public transport and bike paths.
