GODA. Island Hideaway on Svartsö

Fish and bathe in the lake, heat up in the sauna, do yoga and long table dinners in the orangery and sleep under the stars in the cabin. Named GODA ('good'), this is a wonderful place to get back to nature. GODA is a twist on “good” (gott in Swedish/god in Danish); an island hide-out for curious young souls like yourself demanding goodness for nature, self and others. We build GODA in 2016-2018 and she continues to grow and evolve as you will see if you visit her. GODA comfortably hosts 7 people in beds (plus 2 kids beds and 2 baby beds) in the main house and 6 people in Mini GODA. Our latest newcomer with own kitchen, bathroom and space. So a total of 13 adults and 4 kids can enjoy the space collectively, then using madrases on the floor, in the Orangerie or on the benches in the relax room in the sauna to accommodate additional people. The rent is primarily for the main cabin and if a larger group than 7, also for Mini GODA. If you want to access the sauna, orangeri and hot tub, please let us know in advance and we can arrange that, however, the hot tub should be used for stays longer than 4 nights and depends the water level in the lake. The sauna might be rented out by the island hotel during your stay, unless you specifically would like the privacy. In that case, please let us know. The only immediate neighbors are the fascinating fauna that can be discovered all around. There's easy access from the mainland, with boats running all year long. The best access point is on the north side of the island. There are only about 10 cars on the island, all with special permission, so please park your car on one of the main island access points, e.g. Vaxholm (for best access to the house via the north side), Åsättra (Ljusterö) brygga or Boda. You can rent bikes to get around from the grocery store or the hotel (the hotel is only 300m walk from the ground) Easy access from the main land with boats running all year around. The best access is on the North side of the island. ”Dunderbacken” is a newly built house with good social spaces, modern kitchen, shower, toilet, washing machine and fast unlimited WiFi. Nearby there are nice rock baths in the sea and the area is surrounde with smal islands with birds and seals. Kayaks are for rent if you want to visit the islands. Our yard has direct connection to a larger nature reserve with untouched nature and swimming lakes as well as sea/harbour nearby.

Heaven

Fabulous place in the middle of Oxdjupet with boats passing all year. Neverending archipelago, animal wildlife, amazing sunsets, walking paths and military historia. 10 min walk to Fredriksborg, 15 minutes walk to ferry to Rindö & Waxholm. 10 minutes drive to Siggesta Gård, 45 minutes to Stockholm City. House built 1890 and beautyfully renovated to all season standard. Woodfired Sauna 5 meters from sea. Rowingboat is included.

Nyrenoverat och stilrent enplanshus på egen tomt med fri utsikt över ängar och skog – bara 150 m till bad i Gumrarösjön. Roslagsleden passerar huset och efter 15 minuters promenad når du Drängsjön med strand, klippor och fiske. Vandringsleden Stockholm Archipelago Trail (SAT) passerar i närheten av huset. Städning utföres av gästen.

Sjönära Magasin från 1850 med fantastisk atmosfär

Ett unikt sjönära boende med fin utsikt över Åkers kanal, Åkersbro och Prästfjärden. Här bor ni i ett varsamt renoverat magasin i tre plan från ca 1850 med bevarad charm. Huset känns både lyxigt och ombonat och har en fantastisk atmosfär och lugn. OBS! Ej säkert för mindre barn; trappor utan räcken, fönster utan barnspärr i golvnivå med hög fallhöjd. Ej tillgänglighetsanpassat.
