Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Sophy's Studio- Refined and Cozy w/ Hot Tub

Welcome to our cozy, art-filled studio in Duncan, Cowichan Valley. Whether you're here to relax or explore, it's the perfect home base. The suite is beside our home, with full privacy. Enjoy a deck, hammock, and year-round private hot tub. Inside, full-equipped kitchen with granite counters, a propane range, and a bar fridge. It sleeps four with a queen Murphy bed and a queen loft bed, both with organic sheets. Stay comfortable with radiant floor heating, a rustic fireplace, and AC for summer.

Vesuvius Village Cottage

This clean, cozy cottage with a Scandi feel is located a short 7 minute walk from the best swimming and sunset beach on Salt Spring. Equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and queen bed this is the perfect spot to enjoy a taste of the Salt Spring life. Shop at a local farm stand and use the kitchen to cook up a farm to table meal. Then go for a walk to the beach to enjoy the best sunset on Salt Spring! After a quick walk home, a comfy bed awaits, or stay up and play one of many board games offered!

This clean, bright and charming garden suite, is situated on a quiet cul de sac, yet backs on to pastoral farmland. Our heritage home is only 5 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to the Cowichan District hospital. The "HH Garden Suite", is situated in the heart of the Cowichan Valley's mountain - biking area and is no more than a ten minute drive to any of the three mountains that valley bikers boast of! A stay at the Granary comes with a tour of the Keating farm if you choose! Our guests have loved learning about the history and future of the farm. The cabin is designed for a cozy place to unwind, relax and be your Cowichan home base. Featuring a wood burning fireplace, classic claw foot tub, comfortable linens and of course an expansive private deck with field views- the perfect place to cozy up and enjoy your local coffee in the morning or local glass of wine after a day on the town.

Beautiful new studio suite in private home, with full bathroom, kitchenette, bbq area and private covered deck with spectacular ocean view. 5 minute walk to trail head at Mt Erskine Provincial Park. Take a leisurely 10 minute stroll down to Bader's beach for a swim in the warmest water on the island! Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your private deck snuggled in our fluffy robes and slippers! Ganges is a 7 minute drive for unique shopping and dining opportunities.

Brand new self contained ocean view king one bedroom suite. Additional pullout sleeper sofa in living room, full kitchen (range, microwave, dishwasher) laundry in suite, private entrance and patio. Short walk to Maple bay Marina, pub and restaurant as well as Gulf Island float plane service to Vancouver and airport. Only minutes away to lakes, hiking & biking trails, pubs, restaurants, boutique shops and the famous Saturday farmers market in downtown Duncan.

Mount Tzouhalem Lookout

Welcome to our listing and the Cowichan Valley. We overlook Quamichan Lake, and are located midway between salt water at Maple Bay and the city of Duncan (each are a six minute drive away). We are also midway between Nanaimo and Victoria (1 hour drives). For bikers and hikers the Mt. Tzoulhalem (Kaspa Road) trailhead is 600m away (we provide bike lockup). Our rate is for 2 guests. Additional guests are $50 per night. Sorry, we're not child-proofed.

Oceanfront Studio with Hot Tub

We're located oceanfront in beautiful Maple Bay near biking/hiking trails, Maple Bay beach, pubs and restaurants. This cozy Studio offers stunning views and is complete with a kitchenette, full-piece bathroom and a hot tub. Suite has its own private entrance. Kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, induction stove top, convection oven/microwave/air fryer. Please note: Driveway is sloped, with set of stairs to Guest Suite.

The Trincomali Hideaway Oceanfront Yurt

This luxurious oceanfront yurt is hidden in an ancient cedar grove providing privacy and an amazing backdrop to its unprecedented ocean front setting. Set atop an ocean front rock face with a fully covered patio. A fully equipped kitchen and spa like bathroom highlight the luxurious amenities included in this stay. An upscale romantic getaway like no other. Breakfast provided, our guests receive coffee, teas, and light breakfast fare.
