The Annex at Waterfield House is a beautiful, light, spacious get away. The bedroom has bifold doors opening to a balcony with views over the Rive Teign estuary down to Shaldon and Teignmouth. The en-suite has a shower and separate bath and there is even a dressing room. Downstairs the entrance opens into the atrium, again with bifold doors opening onto the decking and garden, a lovely spot to enjoy the pastries for breakfast. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.
